Mac Magnetic Nude Collection: Sweet Heat

Today I went SHOPPING, all of the money and gift cards that I got for Christmas were burning a hole through my pocket and I needed a few essentials so I hit up the good ole mall. Of course I walked by Mac which has recently released a ton of new products so being the make up junkie I am how could I resist. I was planning on picking up two eyeshadows Amorous Alloy and Sweet Heat, but Amorous Alloy was sold out so I only got sweet heat. Anyways I'm totally in love with Sweet Heat and I know I'll be wearing it a ton in 2014.

Mac Sweet Heat Extra Dimension Eye Shadow - $22.50

Sweet Heat is an Extra Deminsion Eyeshadow from the new Magnetic Nude collection that came out on December 26th. Extra Dimension Eyeshadows can be used both wet or dry and are supposed to wear for up to six hours. 

(so I know that this is a crappy swatch but I accidentally deleted the good picture that I took...oops, but anyways I'll update this post soon with a proper swatch...)

Sweet Heat is also a repromote from last year. This shadow is a rose gold, champagne colour that looks absolutely gorgeous on darker or tanned skin. For me since I have a pretty intense tan right now, this shadow looks absolutely gorgeous as an all over the lid colour. The application of this shadow is great, no fall out and Sweet Heat is very pigmented, but I found that this eyeshadow does crease on me if I don't use a primer (but that can be blamed on my oily eyelids). Overall I really do enjoy this eyeshadow and I do think that I will get a lot of wear out of it.

These pictures show the colour which one of the Mac girls at the store applied to me and you can see the creasing a bit but I did not have any primer or any other makeup on.
