Mac Fantasy of Flowers Lipstick - Dreaming Dahlia

Hey everyone today I have a review on yet another Mac lipstick…… now I know I probably have way too many, but Mac is like a cult; once they've got you there's no going back….. and its safe to say that Mac has me!!! Now recently the Fantasy of Flowers collection came out for the spring and they launched a bunch of new lipsticks, and since I've been on the search for a subtle coral for the spring I decided to pick this one up and give it a try.

Mac Dreaming Dahlia Lipstick - $18.00 Canadian

Natural Light (No Flash)
Dreaming Dahlia is a super bright orange-y coral colour in the tube, but since it's a Lustre finish this lipstick comes off as more of a sheer coral on the lips. I think that this shade is going to be absolutely gorgeous for the spring and I'll totally be getting a ton of wear out of this lipstick, especially since its sheer which makes it very wearable.

I have pretty pigmented lips so this colour is not as intense for me as it would be for someone with lighter coloured lips and the colour is very build able which can be seen in the swatches below; but I do want to warn you that since this lipstick is a lustre finish it can settle in the lines of your lips if you either apply too much or if your lips are super dry and cracked. So I would strongly recommend applying a chapstick or lip primer so that this lipstick doesn't settle too much!

Overall this is a super gorgeous shade that I know I'll be wearing a ton for spring, let me know if you picked up anything from the Fantasy of Flowers collection, and I also grabbed a Fluidline from this collection so I'll be posting about that as soon as I take pictures!

Thanks for reading lovelies,
XOXO Gaborillaa ;D
