Mini Mac Haul: Ambering Rose Blush & Snob Lipstick Review + Swatches

Hey everyone I have a mini haul for you today, on my recent trip to New York I just had to go to Mac because it’s quite a bit cheaper than Mac in Canada. Anyway whilst I was there I picked up two amazing products, the first was a blush called Ambering Rose and the second was a lipstick called Snob. I am head over heels in love with both of these products.

I think I found my new favourite blush, Ambering Rose is sooo beautiful; it is a Sheertone Shimmer Blush that's a bronzy, reddish colour with hints of gold shimmer. It’s such a complex colour and I love it!!! Ambering Rose is a versatile colour because it can be sheered out to leave a faint rosy glow or it can be built up to obtain a true – to – pan colour. This colour is great for you girlies out there with darker skin tones because this blush is very pigmented, but do not worry if you have a lighter skin tone, because as I said before you can sheer it out to obtain the perfect colour.  Also on warmer complexions this blush will come out more bronzy and burnt, but on cooler complexions it’ll come out more rosy, which makes this very, very flattering. I really think I have found true love with this blush, the question is have you???

Now onto the lipstick, Snob is a cool, blue toned light pink. It is in the permanent Mac collection and it is a satin finish. Personally I find that this lipstick settles in the cracks or lines in your lips if they are dry so using a lip balm prior to application is what I recommend. Also when I apply this lipstick I like to blot it off a bit and wear it a bit sheer, I find that this looks better on me and this also helps stop the lipstick from settling into the cracks on my lips. Also this lipstick wears for quite a long time which I am happy with so overall I really enjoy this lipstick and I was glad that I bought it.
