Mac Alluring Aquatic Goddess of the Sea Lipstick

Hey everyone today I'm writing about ANOTHER Mac Lipstick that is from the Alluring Aquatic Collection. Now I totally have wayyyy to many Mac lipsticks but I literally could not resist the packaging and I knew that I had to have at least one item from this collection! I snapped up the lipstick Goddess of the Sea when it released in stores yesterday.

Hey everyone today I have a review on yet another Mac lipstick…… now I know I probably have way too many, but Mac is like a cult; once they've got you there's no going back….. and its safe to say that Mac has me!!! Now recently the Fantasy of Flowers collection came out for the spring and they launched a bunch of new lipsticks, and since I've been on the search for a subtle coral for the spring I decided to pick this one up and give it a try.

Mac Lipstick Rebel

Hey everyone ANOTHER Mac Product to talk about today, and it is Rebel Lipstick. This lipstick has caught my attention for quite a while now and I've been dying to pick it up and on Friday I finally did. This is going to be a quick little post so lets get into it.

Mac Rebel Lipstick - $16.00 Canadian

Rebel is a Satin finish lipstick that is a plumy red colour. It isn't too red or too plum but is just right in the middle. As you can see in the picture above it leans a bit more red and in the picture below it leans more plum. Although Mac describes Rebel as a "midtonal creme plum" I find that it can look a little different on every person depending on lip colour and lighting, but for the most part it looks like a plum with red tones. This lipstick wears for a very long time and even stains the lips a bit which can be amazing or a hindrance sometimes. I find that Rebel looks gorgeous on all skin tones and its a perfect colour for the fall and winter because although its dark it does not look too vampy; which makes it much more wearable. Overall I am very pleased to have this lippy in my collection and I cannot wait to start wearing it.

When I went into Mac to check out the Indulge collection, whilst trying out the lipsticks I was telling one of the girls that worked there that I always have dry lips and that I hate wearing lipsticks because I find that it settles into the cracks on my lips; so she showed me the Mac Prep & Prime Lip Base.

Mac Indulge Collection: Lipstick Sweet Succulence

Hey everyone, as you might know Mac recently released their fall Indulge Collection. As a makeup addict I of course had to check it out. I went into my local Mac and went on a swatching spree, and in all honestly I was not very impressed. The colours were sort of stale and they all seemed like colours that I've seen before. But one product that caught my eye was this lipstick Sweet Succulence.
