Hey everyone I have another lipstick to show you from my little shopping trip last week, when I picked up Mac Rebel and Sweet Heat which I also have blog posts on; I picked up Mac's Heroine which I am soooo utterly obsessed with. Manicure Monday: Aztec-Inspired Nails

Hey everyone today I'm writing a Manicure Monday post, and I know I haven't done one of these in a while but on my recent trip to Mexico (Rivera Maya) I got to see a lot of Mexican culture and that included the Aztec's and Mayans so I decided to do some Aztec and Mayan inspired nail art!!!

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette Review

Hey everyone today I am going to be reviewing the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, now I know the entire world has probably already reviewed this product but I spent so much time writing this review when I first got my Naked 3 a few weeks ago that it would be a shame not to post it!!

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette - $62.00 Canadian

Now onto Naked 3, the Naked 3 Palette is the third in a collection of palettes from Urban Decay; the original Naked  palette came out about 2 years ago then the Naked 2 came our last year and this year we were all anticipating the release of the Naked 3.

Mac Lipstick Rebel

Hey everyone ANOTHER Mac Product to talk about today, and it is Rebel Lipstick. This lipstick has caught my attention for quite a while now and I've been dying to pick it up and on Friday I finally did. This is going to be a quick little post so lets get into it.

Mac Rebel Lipstick - $16.00 Canadian

Rebel is a Satin finish lipstick that is a plumy red colour. It isn't too red or too plum but is just right in the middle. As you can see in the picture above it leans a bit more red and in the picture below it leans more plum. Although Mac describes Rebel as a "midtonal creme plum" I find that it can look a little different on every person depending on lip colour and lighting, but for the most part it looks like a plum with red tones. This lipstick wears for a very long time and even stains the lips a bit which can be amazing or a hindrance sometimes. I find that Rebel looks gorgeous on all skin tones and its a perfect colour for the fall and winter because although its dark it does not look too vampy; which makes it much more wearable. Overall I am very pleased to have this lippy in my collection and I cannot wait to start wearing it.

(excuse the appearance of my hands they get super dry during the winter)

Mac Magnetic Nude Collection: Sweet Heat

Today I went SHOPPING, all of the money and gift cards that I got for Christmas were burning a hole through my pocket and I needed a few essentials so I hit up the good ole mall. Of course I walked by Mac which has recently released a ton of new products so being the make up junkie I am how could I resist. I was planning on picking up two eyeshadows Amorous Alloy and Sweet Heat, but Amorous Alloy was sold out so I only got sweet heat. Anyways I'm totally in love with Sweet Heat and I know I'll be wearing it a ton in 2014.

Mac Sweet Heat Extra Dimension Eye Shadow - $22.50

A Very Lush Christmas

Happy New Year everyone, and I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and Holiday season. I went away to Rivera Maya, Mexico this year for Christmas so that is why I haven't been as active on my blog lately. Anyways I'm back and here to start 2014 off with a bunch of posts. This year for Christmas I was treated by two of my aunts to a treasure trove of Lush products. They were spot on in getting me the exact things that I wanted; the Bombardino Bath Bomb, Cinders Bath Bomb, Santa Lip Scrub, and Ro's Argan Body Conditioner. Lately I have been Lush obsessed and I have been using A LOT of their products lately.

First up is Bombardino...
Limited Edition
Vegan
Bombardino - $5-10
(this was a gift and I couldn't find the price online so this is an approximate price)

Lush claims that Bombardino is a rich and creamy bath bomb that is inspired by an after ski drink made in the Italian Alps with eggnog, brandy, and whipped cream. Although inspired by a drink Lush's Bombardino was made to smell like a lemon meringue pie and contains cocoa butter which leaves skin feeling soft.

Next up is Cinders...
Limited Edition
Vegan

Cinders Bath Bomb - $4.95

Cinders Bath Bomb contains almond oil, sweet orange and cinnamon leaf essential oils which smells AHHHMAZING and super festive; and the popping candy makes Cinders crackle when you pop it in the bath which is supposed to sound like a crackling fire. This probably has to be my new favourite bath bomb and I'll definitely be buying it next Christmas.

Then Santa's Lip Scrub...
Limited Edition
Vegetarian

Santa's Lip Scrub - $8.95

Lush Lip Scrubs are some of my favourites especially when my lips are chapped and I already do love the Mint Julep lip scrub so I was really excited to try the Santa's Lip Scrub. I love that this scrub is cola flavoured so licking it off is twice as fun (and this lip scrub is made out of edible ingredients like sugar and edible heart sprinkles so its completely safe to eat; not that I would recommend eating this by the jarful...)

Lastly is Ro's Argan Body Conditioner...
Permanent
Vegan

Ro's Argan Body Conditioner - $32.95

I've heard a lot of Youtuber's talking about this product most notably Allison from Amarixe and Ingrid from MissGlamorazzi and all they've done was rant about how great this product was so of course I had to check out Ro's Argan. I am also a über lazy person and therefore I do not like moisturizing after the shower so this body conditioner is perfect for me because I can apply the body conditioner to my body and not have to moisturize again after the shower. This is also perfect for soothing your legs after shaving. One con to this product is that it is pretty expensive so I would recommend going into your local Lush and asking for a sample; so you can see if you like the product.
